Return and Exchange Policy

1. Introduction

This Return & Exchange Policy ("Policy") governs all cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refund procedures for products purchased from Aruvo. By placing an order, customers agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation Window: Orders may be cancelled within twenty-four (24) hours of placement and before the order has been dispatched.
  • Post-Dispatch Cancellations: Once an order has been shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation.
  • Return-to-Origin (RTO) Charges: A fee of INR 250 will be levied on orders returned due to customer refusal or non-availability at the time of delivery.

3. Return & Exchange Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be satisfied:

  1. Timely Request: The return or exchange must be initiated within seven (7) days of the delivery date.
  2. Item Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in their original packaging with all tags attached.
  3. Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required to process the request.

4. Permissible Grounds for Return/Exchange

Aruvo allows returns and exchanges for any reason. However, commonly accepted grounds include:

  • Receipt of an incorrect item or size
  • Manufacturing defects (supporting images must be provided)
  • Damage during transit (must be reported within twenty-four [24] hours along with images of the packaging and item)
  • Material discrepancies from product descriptions

5. Return & Exchange Process

Customers may raise return or exchange requests directly through the Aruvo website under the "My Orders" section. No separate approval or manual intervention is required.

Upon submission, customers will automatically receive instructions and pickup details for dispatching the return or exchange. In certain service areas where courier pickup is unavailable, customers may be required to ship the item themselves using a reliable, trackable service.

6. Fees and Charges

  • Pickup Charges: A flat fee of INR 150 will be charged for returns or exchanges collected via Aruvo’s courier partners.
  • Self-Shipment: Where courier pickup is unavailable, customers must arrange shipping at their own expense.
  • Refusal or Non-Acceptance: If a customer refuses delivery or denies acceptance, a handling fee of INR 250 will apply.

7. Inspection & Final Decision

Returned items will undergo a quality check upon receipt. Items that fail inspection (e.g., those that are worn, washed, or not in original condition) will be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense.

8. Exchange Fulfillment

Approved exchanges will be processed and shipped within forty-eight (48) hours after successful inspection. If the replacement product has a different price, the customer must settle any additional amount prior to dispatch.

9. Refund Policy

  • Refund Notification: Customers will be notified via email once the returned item has been received and inspected.
  • Processing Timeline: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days. Bank or payment gateway delays may extend this period.

10. Limitation of Liability

Aruvo’s total liability under this Policy is strictly limited to the replacement of the product or a refund of the purchase price, as determined solely by Aruvo.
